Nature is our home. We work with the surrounding environment to give those we walk with a strong sense of welcome.

What we do

  • CELEBRATE. By paying close attention to our surrounding environment we begin to inhabit a nourishing, reciprocal world.

  • COMMUNITY. We run programmes around Scotland offering transformative walks to local communities and the organisations and charities who support them.

  • PARTICIPATION. Everyone has something to teach, and by sharing our knowledge we rekindle community-led foraging as a way of relating to, and caring for, our environment

  • A pleasure to work with and their events are extremely popular with our wide range of visitors.

Robert Troughton, Resident Trustee of Blair Atholl Castle & Gardens

  • It was truly eye-opening to see how much beauty is right on our doorstep. It’s wonderful for the people we support to experience nature in such a unique and engaging way.

Andrea Donaldson - Service Manager, Carr Gomm

  • I never thought a wee walk in the glen could make such a difference to how I feel.

    Robin - Walk Participant, Glasgow

  • Our ongoing collaboration with Plant Listening is a source of great pride for our estate and joy for our clients.

Sir Ludovic Shaw Stewart - Ardgowan House, Castle & Gardens

  • I see the world with new eyes, and feel like a different person to who I was this morning.

    Jake - Walk Participant, Perthshire

  • We have been so pleased to work with Plant Listening. Tamara and her team are so knowledgeable, welcoming and warm. The refugees we support have appreciated from the warm and inclusive atmosphere, and both they, and our support team, have benefitted by spending time with plants and recharging our batteries at the beautiful Glen Farm.
